A little further afield (but still within easy reach) you'll also find Salts Mill. Today this too is a fixture in the local arts scene, but it is also hugely significant historically. Salts Mill itself is a grade-II listed building, and it is the reason the village of Saltaire - today a UNESCO world heritage site in it's own right - was built.
